The Mosque

Located in the South Street of the ancient town district, Mosque dates from the late Ming Dynasty and was rebuilt in the early Qing Dynasty, covering an area of 1445 square meters and with the building area of 1064 square meters. The mansion with its audience hall being timber structure, triple eaves and quadrangle pavilion roof pillars and transverse beam frames are 4 room deep, 21.4 meters long and 9.5 meters long with plain store steps and drooping stomps to be a quadrangle dwelling with the church as the center. The horizontal inscribed board “abiding by Good Manners in the lifetime” on the church was written by Guo Prince, the seventeenth prince of Kangxi Emperor of the Qing Dynasty. The temple is the main place for Hui ethic people to hold religious activities.
