Lanting is the Holy Land of Calligraphy in Tall Bamboo Forest

Lanting (Orchid Pavilion) is a cherished place for many Chinese people sine ancient times, including writers, poets, and emperors. Perhaps in the minds of every Chinese, Lanting is the holy land of Calligraphy for Chinese nation, because there was a great calligrapher Wang Xizhi, who wrote the famous Preface to the Poems Composed at the Orchid Pavilion.

Today, thousands of years later, walk through the peace and quiet Orchid Pavilion, it is still elegance, old-fashioned, as if the winding streams just as yesterday. In front, it is a tall bamboo forest, verdant trees, green and lush, just a pastoral scene, and people indulge and do not want to leave.
