Ink Hongcun

2/28/2012 Leoeru Sights Huangshan 2002

This was the second time for me to go to Hongcun Village. The first time was when I went to climb the Huangshan.

There were some students sketching in the village, in fact… it is rather comfortable to sit by the river.

These young students interpret their own favorite Hongcun with their pen and ink.

The water is quiet, but not very clean.

These cakes are very delicious.

There are wines in the village.

Although there were a lot of people, but the water was really very quiet.

This time there were some lanterns hanging in front of the houses.

I like this photo.

works with the reality

Understanding of the female students to the village is quiet and clean, while the understanding of male students to the village is rather messy.

This is the object of their paintings. From here you will understand the work of art is different from the reality. Of course, some people will never understand.

Hongcun was built in the Southern Song Dynasty, 900 years of history, amazing!

The natural indigo of mountains, dark green river, red lanterns decorated with white walls and black tiles, so good a natural picture of the watercolor.

It would be much better to have fewer visitors in this clear and quiet little village.

I went to see the performance at night.

I went to Huangshan the next day, and the fog was so heavy, which was really rare.

I only shot a big ginkgo tree.

Ps: Hongcun is a village in Yi County county, Anhui Province, near the southwest slope of Mount Huangshan.
The village is arranged in the shape of an ox with the nearby hill (Leigang Hill) interpreted as the head, and two trees standing on it as the horns. Four bridges across the Jiyin stream can be seen as the legs whilst the houses of the village form the body. Inside the “body”, the Jiyin stream represents the intestines and various lakes such as the “South Lake” form the other internal organs.
The architecture and carvings of the approximately 150 residences dating back to the Ming and Qing Dynasties are said to be among the best of their kind in China. One of the biggest of the residences open to visitors, Chenzhi Hall, also contains a small museum.
