Youyang Peach Blossom Spring is located in Taohuayuan Township of Youyang Tujia and Miao Minority Autonomous County of Chongqing City. It is a national 5A scenic area, as well as a national forest park and a national geological park. It covers a total area of 50 square kilometers, consisting of Fuxi Cave, Taohuayuan Square, Youzhou Ancient Town, Eryou Mountain and Taohuayuan National Forest Park. It is great place to escape from the hustle and bustle of the outside world, to explore the mystery of geology and get back to the green nature.





Stepping into the Peach Blossom Spring Scenic Area, you will see a lush forest of peach trees with a clear stream trickling through which is called the Peach Stream. When in April of every year, pink enchanting peach blossoms are to be found in full bloom and smiling in spring breeze. After the peach forest, there is a cave to walk through. Waves of coolness would come to you when you entering the cave. And at this time, the melodious sounds made by water drops on the rock add more fun to this short journey.

At the other end of the cave, a spectacular of idyllic landscapes suddenly come to the eyes. Dense green forest and bloomed peach blossoms, a path surrounded with mountains, pond, island, pavilion, grass and plants grown in the fields alongside, and several scattered folk houses, every single item in this picturesque picture is so natural and combined so perfectly, making you ask yourself, “Is this the real peach blossom spring from that ancient world?”





There is a pond called Beautiful Pond with a pool of green crystal water to hold the centered island and pavilion. Keeping on going, you will enjoy many beautiful natural and historical sites.
