Detailed Itinerary: Today your sightseeing will start with a visit to Tiananmen Square. As the largest public square in the world, Tiananmen Square can hold over one million people. It is often considered as a national symbol in China. Tiananmen Square is a must-visit attraction for people traveling to Beijing.

Next we will proceed to the Forbidden City. It is the best-preserved imperial palace in China and the largest ancient palatial structure in the world. With the magnificence of royal architectures and imperial treasures, Forbidden City is a must-visit attraction in Beijing.

After lunch, we will have a rickshaw riding at Hutong. Hutongs are alleys formed by lines of Siheyuan, traditional courtyard residences. As an important cultural element of old Beijing, Hutongs have been great choices for people to get to know Beijing local history and culture. A rickshaw ride among Hutongs should be the best way to get to know and experience the uniqueness of Hutong.

Next we will go to visit Yandaixiejie. Also called Tobacco Pipe Lean Street, Yandaixiejie is one of the oldest Hutong in Beijing with a year more than 800 years. It got its name as it was used to be famous for sellers of long-stemmed pipes. Now along the street, it is lined with numerous store that selling antiques, Chinese traditional clothing, jewelry, silk, tea and small selections.

Then we will move to Madian Mosque. Its typical Chinese traditional courtyard styled architecture and quite environment make Madian Mosque a popular mosque for Muslims in Beijing.

Ningxia is the provincial capital of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region and over half of the population of this city is Muslims. Deeply influenced by Islamic culture and customs, Ningxia is a great place to get a close look at Muslim culture and life. Mosques, Muslims communities and Muslim bazaars are commonly seen in Ningxia. Today we will visit mosques, Madrasahs, local Muslim families, Muslim communities and bazaars.

After breakfast at the hotel, our guide will drive you to Lanzhou and we will start our Lanzhou tour immediately. The first destination will be Xiguan Mosque. The mosque was constructed during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). Architectures of the Xiguan Mosque are of strong Islamic styles but have also combined Chinese traditional art. Xiguan Mosque is an important place for local Lanzhou Muslims to do prayers and attend religious activities.

The next scheduled destination will be Waterwheel Park. The park is located along Yellow River. Waterwheel Park is consisted of two waterwheels, a cofferdam, the recreation area and a house of water mill. The two traditional waterwheels are the main attraction in the park. They were used to irrigate farmlands around Lanzhou and now they are historical exhibitions in the park.

Then we will proceed to visit Gansu Provincial Museum. It is the largest museum in Gansu Province. Housing a collection of historical and cultural relics, like color-painted potteries, ancient grottoes, linen and silk products, books, wooden and bronze vessels, fresco's and so many other items, Gansu Provincial Museum is a great place to get to know the history and culture of Gansu and Silk Road. Among its treasures, the most famous one is the world-famous bronze Galloping Horse's Hoof Stepped on a Flying Swallow.
