7 Day Chengdu and Guizhou Twin Cities Tour

Detailed Itinerary: Today you will be transferred to the train station and take a bullet train to Guiyang. Once arrive you will be taken to visit Guiyang Water City Venice. Later you will visit Jiaxiu Pavilion, which is the symbol of Guiyang, the pavilion has a history of more than 400 years.

Jiaxiu Pavilion: Jiaxiu Pavilion is a building on a giant stone on the Nanming River, south of Guiyang city. It was first built in Ming Dynasty, and was reconstructed many times, the current architecture was rebuilt in 1909. There is a stone arch bridge named Fuyu (Floating Jade) connecting the Jiaxiu Pavilion with the river bank.

Detailed Itinerary: After you have finished your breakfast, you will be transferred to Anshun to visit Huangguoshu Waterfall, excluding battery car and one way escalator. Later visit more highlights such as Tianxing Bridge Scenic Spot, Dou Po Tang Waterfall, as well as Yin Lian Zhui Waterfall.

Huangguoshu Waterfall: Huangguoshu Waterfall is an national 5A scenic spot in China. It is the third largest waterfalls in the world after Niagara Falls and Victoria Falls. Huangguoshu Waterfall is located in Zhenning Buyi and Miao Autonomous County, Anshun City, Guizhou Province. It is situated 45 kilometer southwest of Anshun City, and is about 150 kilometers northeast of Guiyang City, the provincial capital of Guizhou Province.

Tianxingqiao Scenic Spot: Tianxingqiao Scenic Spot is located about 6 kilometers downstream of Huangguoshu Waterfall. It is consisted of three main scenic areas, Tianxing Cave, Tianxing Potted Landscape on Water, and Stone Forest in Water. At Tianxingqiao Scenic Spot attracts people by its elegant scenery featured by karst formation, water, rocks, forests and caves. Also as Tianxingqiao is known to many people as it was one of the shooting sites of a famous Chinese TV “Pilgrimage to the West".

Detailed Itinerary: After breakfast, you will begin your sightseeing tour by visiting Dragon Palace Cave including cruise, battery car and up and down elevator, then visit Tianlong Ancient Town (including battery car).

Dragon Palace Cave: Dragon Palace Cave is located in Longtan Village, Anshun city of Guizhou province. It is about 45 kilometers away from Anshun city center and 1160 kilometers away from Guiyang city, the provincial capital of Guizhou province. Dragon Palace Cave is national key tourist attraction famous for its unique karst landforms, including karst cave, in-cave waterfall, stone forests, underground river, stalactite and stalagmite. Dragon Palace is crowned as "the wonder of nature" by tourists.

Tianlong Ancient Town: Tianlong Ancient Town, known as Tianlong Tunpu Ancient Town, is situated in the west of Guizhou province and is about 72 kilometers west of Guiyang city.

Detailed Itinerary: After breakfast you will be tranferred to the train station and take a bullet train to Leshan. Once arrive you will be driven to visit Leshan Giant Buddha. You will also enjoy a cruise along the river.

Leshan Giant Buddha: Leshan Giant Buddha is the tallest stone Buddha statue in the world, which was carved out of a cliff face by an 8th-century monk in southern Sichuan province.

Detailed Itinerary: In the morning you will set out to visit Mount Emei where you will see the famous Baoguo Temple and Fuhu Temple (including battery car). Later continue to visit Huanglongxi Ancient Town.

Mount Emei: Mount Emei is located in the southwest of Sichuan Basin. It is one of the Four Sacred Buddhist Mountains in China. It lies 7 kilometers to Emeishan city to the west and 37 kilometers away from Leshan city to the east. Mount Emei together with the Giant Stone Buddha at Leshan Mountain has been included on the list of world heritage by UNESCO in 1996.

Huanglongxi Ancient Town: Huanglongxi Ancient Town is one of the most famous ancient historic and cultural towns in China. Also it is a hot tourist site for tourists when travel to Sichuan or go for a Chengdu tour. Hunaglongxi Ancient Town is located in Shuangliu County, 30 kilometers southeast of Chengdu. The Huanglong Ancient Town is quite an ancient town and it has a history of more than 1,700 years and can be dated back to the Three Kingdoms Period (220 BC – 280BC).

Detailed Itinerary: On the last day of your 7-day tour you will visit Chengdu Panda Base. Also do some shopping at Jinli Ancient Street before departing from Chengdu.  

Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding: Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding is the primary tourist destination to see giant pandas in Chengdu. It is a non-profit research and breeding facility for giant pandas and other rare animals. The panda base is located at Futuoshan Mountain in northern suburbs of Chengdu with only about 10 kilometers from downtown Chengdu, and can be reached within 35 minutes by taxi.

Jinli Street: Jinli Street that is located in the east of the Wuhou Memorial Temple is one of the oldest commercial streets in China, and the most famous street in Chengdu. As the must-see attraction when travel to Chengdu, Jinli Street is a great place to experience the authentic Chengdu culture, customs, and folk arts.
