Tartar Mosque
Tartar Mosque, also named Turkish Mosque, is the only one of its type in northern China located on Harbin’s Tongjiang Street. This mosque was originally built in 1901 by local Tartars. The construction area is 300 square meters, and 30 meters in height. The mosque is a unique combination of traditional Arabic architecture and Byzantine art. However, this mosque is no longer operating and is closed to visitors, but you can admire it from the outside.
