Liulin Mosque

Liulin Mosque is a new mosque set up by the local government in 2004 and finished construction in 2005. It is situated in Liulin Road thus the name Liulin Mosque was given. It is constructed in a traditional Arabic architecture style with seven golden domes on top and splendid mosaics in exterior decoration. In a word, Liulin Mosque is a grand structure with typical Islamic characteristics.

Liulin Mosque covers an area of 2,730 square meters and a construction area of 975 square meters. On the west side are the 3 main halls. One of them is the men prayer hall, covering an area of over 100 square meters. It is able to hold a capacity of 200 people to do prayers at a time. On the south side is the women prayer hall. There are also the reception room, Imam’s room and bathrooms for men and women separately.

Liulin Mosque has been dedicated into the Muslim activities and has made great contribution to the local Muslim community.
