The reservoir encompassed by mountains is a great tourist attraction with green hills and clear waters, green pine trees and bluish green cypresses, birds' twitter and fragrance of flowers, leaping fishes and blowing stork. The landscape of the water and hill in the reservoir is known throughout the world for its rare beauty. With beautiful mythical tales adding to the allure of the wonderful view of forest-clad mountains and limpid streams, Mopan Lake had created the typical water country that abounds in rivers and lakes.
There's one dam around the reservoir that runs for more than 1,000 meters and is made by the common loess. Yet the dam could resist the great pressure of the water with 0.1 billion cubic meters. It's also the brilliant masterpiece in the water conservancy history. More importantly, the designers skillfully took advantage of the natural mountains, and decide to set up the dam on the corner of the water current, which could make the pressure that the dam could resist only be the backwash of the water storage pressure in the whole lake.
The reception centre with its back against Mopan Lake was built facing the crystal clear water, secluded and refined. Standing in front of the building, all you could see nothing but the large bodies of blue water nestling in the green mountains, as if it were one round lake, as a matter of fact, it's only the bottom of the bottle gourd. You could embark on a cruiser and see the full extent of Mopan Lake.
When you drive its twenty-five feet, it seems as if you had come to the end of Mopan Lake. But if you turned to the foot of a mountain, just as you were turning to it, the view before you suddenly becomes broadened and cleared up, and you saw another extensive body of green water emerging in front of you. The relative green mountains on both banks of the lake would come in greeting our guest from afar.
One river streamed away towards to amuse the visitors. Each year when spring is being replaced by summer, the smooth surface of the lake as of a large precious mirror besetting on green surrounding mountains might be traced by its merry gleam afar into the wood's heart of mystery, which had become a mystery of joy.
There're from time to time white egrets hovering over the waters of the lake. Mopan Mountains with tremendous momentum, the vital yacht and boat, the silent and elegant fish pond on a moonlit night, all of these could constitute the brilliant scroll painting.
