Chunxi Road

Chunxi Road is the place for shopping in Chengdu! Here you will find department stores with international brands and many worldwide restaurant chains. The street has a history of 85 years, established in 1924 it is now one of the most extravagant places to shop. The main entrances to Chunxi Road are on the north and south end of the main shopping street and this is where taxis drop off visitors.

Chunxi Road is a pedestrian street, which means that no vehicles are allowed on it making it a safe place to stroll and do a bit of window shopping. On either side of Chunxi Road are tall and modern shops selling modern fashions, electronics and jewelry. There are also many restaurants and small snack stands that sell Chengdu's famous local cuisine.
