Chengde East Mosque is one of the major mosques in Chengde, Hebei Province. It is located in Nanyingzi Street, the most bustling business street in Chengde.Chengdu East Mosque was constructed in early Qing Dynasty when Emperor Shunzhi was in reign. Later in Emperor Qianlong-era, it was refurbished and expanded as the emperor had summer retreat with royal families there. One of the most important culture relics within the mosque is a hexagonal palace lantern bestowed by Emperor Qianlong's consort Xiang Fei.
Chengde East Mosque is now not available for public worship due to a series of destruction occupation in the history.
