Sichuan is inhabited over 60% of the Giant Pandas on earth. The Giant Panda is an endangered and one of the cutest animals in the world. Volunteering at Bifengxia will give you access to the most intimate life of them.
The whole volunteer program is for a week, starting from Sunday.
Day 1 you will arrive at Chengdu, Sichuan. There will be a guide pick you up at the airport and lead you to the hostel Traffic Inn Chengdu.

Day 2 in the morning there will be an orientation for this panda volunteer program at the hostel. In the afternoon, we will show you around Chengdu.
Day 3, you are finally going to be a GPHL. We will get you to Bifengxia Panda Base where you will sign up, try your working uniform and staff card and staying for the rest of the week. After being settled down in your new room, staff will guide you through the base and give you a lecture on panda protection work and necessary knowledge on panda caring. You will also meet your trainer who is one of the panda keepers in the base.

Day 4 to day 6 you will truly be working as a volunteer at the base. You will be assigned with a panda that you are responsible for. Clean its crib and its garden, prepare for panda’s lunch, prepare for its afternoon tea, monitor the panda and collect the data.

Day 7 is time to say goodbye to the pandas and your trainer. We will send you back to Chengdu downtown where you can carry on with your China tour or travel back home.
