Taking photos during a trip is an all too common. A perfect photo which usually features flawless focus, exposure, content, framing and etc., however, exerts quite a challenge for green hands. This challenge will be amplified if one visits China replete with beautiful places, both natural and manmade. To make things easier, we have carefully summarized a list of the destinations which requires least expertise in photography.
Li River
Location: Guilin, Guangxi Province
Li River may have been mentioned too much, nothing new, which nevertheless says it is really worth visiting. Eulogized as the pearl of gorgeous Guilin, it offers equally alluring scenery, be it sunny or misty. On the bamboo raft, leave the world to your own as mountains drawing back. Capture the moment with your camera when the fisherman pull his net on a raft fully loaded with orange sunset glow.
Dongjiang Lake
Location: Zixing, Chenzhou, Hunan Province
On each sunny day, the green mountains and crystal water in this artificial lake will be shrouded in mist. Amidst this loom a fisherman casts a net and brings rampant ripples across the lake. A perfect and pure setting for photo taking, no matter which zone your camera frame in.
Chaka Salt Lake
Location: Chaka Town, Ulan County, Haixi Monglian and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai
This "Mirror of the Sky" is actually a large salt flat embedded in the snowy mountains and lush meadows. Walking in the knee-deep lake, one will marvel at the scene: the crystal clear water mirrors the azure sky and the boundary between the sky is in loom.
Seda Monastery
Location: Seda County, Sichuan Province
The two photos below capture the moments in Serta Larung Ngarik Nangten Lopling in Seda county. This Tibetan Buddhist sanctuary has a patchwork of temples in striking red under the blue sky. The sea of red under the blue sky calm people with its tranquil power.
Kanas Lake
Location: Burqin, Xinjiang Province
One can feel nature's generosity when creating Kanas Lake. This pure world with clearly cut four-season explains how paintings get alive. From the furious spring in verdancy to chromatic autumn in splendor, it defies visitor's sensation of time and place.
Xiapu Mudflat
Location: Xiapu, Ningde, Fujian Province
In this largest and most photogenic mudflat of the country, bamboo structures, fishing vessels, buoys complement well with the natural beauty. The intoxicating beauty of this place, in a "less is more" philosophy, can be captured when the sunrise or the sunset projects the upright bamboo sticks into linear shadows over the water dazzling with glow.
Dongchuan Red Land
Location: Kunming, Yunnan Province
The passionate sea of colors is contagious as it winds perpetual along the mountains. It seems like a patchwork by nature carried away by a whim on a maroon field rich in minerals like iron. Along the seasons, other colors are added to the crops in parcels. The best season to visit is during the spring and fall.
